Our mission in working with students is rooted deeply in God’s Word.  It is our only measurement of effective ministry to the family, and is our constant guide as we work together to help you raise your children in the Lord.  As we lead our students into the body of Christ, we want to encourage them to grow in the same balanced way that Jesus grew, giving attention to all aspects of their development.  Our model is found in Luke 2:52.

JESUS GREW IN:

Wisdom “GROWING FROM SEEKING” (Knowledge) - With the magnifying glass as our symbol, students are encouraged to grow mentally by searching for clues of God’s life-changing truth, opening up the mysteries to the world.  They do so by:

1.      Magnifying - searching God’s Word.

2.      Seeking of the truth - the truth that comes from God.

3.      Polishing the lens to clearly see God’s clues.

Catalyst: Bible Classes - a search for clues from God’s Word that can be taken into the world.

Stature “GROWING DEEPER” (Growth Experiences) - The cross inspires our students to present their bodies as  living sacrifices, growing in stature by kneeling deeper in service.  By walking in the footsteps of Jesus, they become His:

1.      Feet - bringing people to Christ

2.      Hands - helping people grow in Christ

3.      Heart - sharing with people the love of Christ

Catalyst: Mission experiences and service projects.

Favor with God “GROWING HIGHER” (Spiritual Experiences) - Like the soaring eagle, we teach our students to rise to a higher calling, to worship the Father who adopted us, always in awe at the heights we are invited to ascend.  Students are challenge to:

1.  Hear, obey, and adore the Father - our Creator and King.

2.  See, follow, and love the Son - our Savior and Friend.

3.  Know and cherish the Spirit - our Comforter and Guide.

Catalyst: Youth activities, promoting complimentary cohesion and celebrating the abundant life.

Favor with Man “GROWING WARMER” (Relationships) - We want our students to have the heart of Christ, see with our Father’s eyes of compassion, to reach out with the loving touch of Jesus; and to embrace with the warmth of the Holy Spirit, becoming:

1.  Unified by affirmation

2.  Transformed by Relationships

Catalyst: Fellowship Activities and Retreats - nurturing the development of Godly, unconditional friendships.
